Arrival in Pisa |

Hello Everyone!
We are here! Flight was great, but went really quickly. No delays luckily, so we arrived more or less on time. However, had to wait 2 hours for our connecting train! No complaints however: we just sat in the sun ;)
When we arrived, the hotel was smaller than we thought, but was right near the station and the room is all we would need & well equiped.
We then set off to discover Pisa! First, naturally, we went ot the leaning Tower. It was simply magnificent (despite the beggars and artists constantly harrassing us - Katie has actually bought a self portrait!!)
Next we headed to the old town and had a meander through all of the old streets and over the River Arno.
Now, at 3:45pm we found ourselves in an Internet cafe checking various emails and doing this post! We now plan to hunt out some tea somewhere. We look forward to Florence tomorrow greatly.
We have some pictures from the digital camera, but this cafe will not let us plug in the card reader for some reason, so we will update this post in a few days with plenty of pics!
